Reviews
Had an absolutely fabulous experience at Keipi during Restaurant Week. Fixed price menu was top notch. Can’t wait to go back.
Stuffed bell pepper with ground beef and rice, and stuffed mushrooms with cheese for sharables. Entree was the veggie topped bread (Khachapuri) and Lamb kebab. Lamb kebab was perfect. Bread was solid, but will probably try another option next time.
Had a glass of the house amber wine. Dessert was baklava.
Loved every bit of it and are already talking about our return visit.
Very cold food! Old tasteless tomatoes, the cheese was hard and dry! The eggplant rolls were super cold and barely any taste. I could not finish the food, even though there isn't much of it per order. Person I was having food with got sick
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Keipi. Having had family members rave about food they’ve had in the Republic of Georgia, it was wonderful to experience that stateside. Good food, good wine, good hospitality, it doesn’t get much better than that. We will definitely return.
I had the culinary opportunity to try Georgian food for the first time at KEIPI, in Greenville. Located in an industrial-chic outdoor food hall, Hampton Station, the vibes make this an all around good choice for family, friends, or date night!
I went before a show, based off a friend's recommendation & was entirely blown away.
-trio of mini khachapuri
(bacon&brie, spicy veggies, and salmon)
-badrijani (eggplant roll w/ walnut garlic filling, served alongside cheddar curds, brie, kalamata olive, tomato, crackers)
-beet salad (w/arugula, walnuts, feta)
-khinkali (dumpling, kind of like bao, fileld with beef, onion, & spices
-Marani Mtsvane-Rkatsiteli amber wine (notes of apricot, pear, & mint)
The two ladies working front of house were incredibly kind and helpful.
We definitely ordered too much food, but I am excited for the leftovers!!
Great spot in Hampton Station. It was great day outside and the food was awesome. Got the trio of minis that was way too much for one person in a single sitting. Was perfect for lunch and take away though. Traditional was tasty and a perfect benchmark. Lamb and pomegranate was flavorful and definitely worth repeating. Bacon and brie was the bomb. That light smear of fig jam was a great offset to the saltiness of everything else. Definitely recommend. The Steigl Radler Grapefruit paired well.
The eggplant roll stuffed with walnuts and garlic, along with the great selection of white, amber, and red wines, were like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Thank you to our host, Jake, for your kindness and hospitality! We look forward to returning.
So I’ve traveled to almost 40 countries but never to the country of Georgia. Keipi, is a Georgian restaurant who’s owners have spent a lot of time there. This restaurant is very quaint and the service is AMAZING. The bread boats are exceptionally good as are all of their appetizers.
The owners play a guitar and sing walking around the restaurant. They toast each and every table, individually, with some Georgian wine. It’s always a very personal toast and heartfelt.
They have a dinner on Fridays that you can purchase tickets for that allows total strangers to sit together and get to know each other. It’s a very Georgian thing to do, from what I’m told.
Do yourself a favor and go try this place. It’s become a favorite for my wife and I on date night.
Great concept, and delicious experience! They have great wine selections and good cocktails too.
Tried their traditional Keipi, and my spouse ordered the Bacon and Brie. Both were really good.
I’m returning soon!
